Deanne McCartney
Deanne McCartney is an experienced project manager and educator with a strong background in technology and nonprofit management.
She served as a Business and Project Manager at Learning Forward Texas, where she designed strategic plans and optimized processes for educational initiatives. Previously, as an AP Computer Science teacher and Campus Technology Coordinator at Southlake Carroll ISD, Deanne fostered technological innovation in education. Early in her career, she worked as a Programmer and Project Coordinator at American Airlines, overseeing key software development projects.
A devoted mother of two, Deanne is proud of her children’s accomplishments—her son serves in the military, and her daughter teaches English in Spain. Embracing her role as an empty nester, she travels extensively to explore new cultures and inspirations, enriching her perspective on community and creativity.
Deanne’s hands-on experience in nonprofit operations and her passion for education align seamlessly with CAMP’s mission. Her dedication to fostering personal growth and community advancement brings invaluable expertise to the board, contributing to CAMP’s goal of empowering individuals through creative exploration and mindful practices.
